• Ensure specific bumiputera ratio is being maintained at any time within the organization;
• Guide and monitor Perodua’s dealers and vendors to achieve certain performance level acceptable to the organization;
• Work closely with Procurement and Vendor Development to assist vendor s in enhancing and maintaining its product quality that is acceptable to Perodua as well as to global standard;
• Identify other areas; i.e. supply or contract under logistics or others in which Bumiputera can also participate in a more meaningful way;
• Ensure Bumiputera’s equity share in the nation’s economic growth, with fair equitable distribution of national wealth;
• Prepare reports on the achievement and activities and table to management, Board and/ or to the government if required.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university in Business, Management, Economics or equivalent;
• A minimum of ten (10) years relevant experience with at least 5 years in managerial position;
• Excellent in strategic thinking, analytical ability and problem-solving skills;
• Excellent spoken and written skills in English coupled with strong inter personal and high level presentation skills;
• Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and effectively organize to achieve specific goals and to spearhead and work effectively in team environments;
• Willing to travel and to work at a flexible schedule.
