Plan, implement, oversee and maintain all server, storage and backup in the data centre
Job Duties & Responsibilities
•Serves as an expert within a technical area and educates others on technical issues
•Apply proven communication, analytical and problem solving skills to help identify, communicate and resolve issues in order to maximize the benefits of IT system investments
•Respond to and resolve server and operating system issues assigned through service desk
•Identify technical environment issues and implement solutions to mitigate problems
•Perform routine proactive server maintenance activities including firmware upgrades, patching etc
•Research and test recurring problems, determine abnormalities within supported software applications
•To update and create technical product troubleshooting documentation
•work closely with project management, technical services and support group, external vendor partners, and the client to ensure a smooth implementation and transition of the servers
•optimize company servers and related components to achieve high performance of the various business applications supported by tuning the servers as necessary
•to ensure backup and data replication performs as schedule
•analyse storage system behavior and baselines to resolve complex IO problems
Requirements
•Possess a Degree or Master in Computer Science or IT
•Have a good knowledge in MS Office & MS Project
•Good communication skills and inter personal skill
